Board of Education Meeting - January 14, 2025

Join us at our next Board Meeting, where we will celebrate our latest Game Changers (Michelle Yang, Instructional Specialist at Moor Field and Martin Vasquez, Groundskeeper at Alhambra High School). We will also have one staff report (AUSD's Cell Phone Use Policy Development) and two communication items (Annual Financial Audit Report for 2023-2024 and Discussion on Southern California Wildfires Support to the AUSD Community). AUSD Teacher PAGE PHILLIPS named 2024-25 LOS ANGELES COUNTY TEACHER OF THE YEAR!

Congratulations to Ms. Page Phillips, Mark Keppel High School's drama teacher and Visual and Performing Arts chairperson. In May 2024, Page was named Alhambra USD's Teacher of the Year. But even bigger news...on Friday, September 20th, Page was announced as a 2024-2025 LA County Teacher of the Year (TOY)! Hazel HEART Telehealth Mental Health Services is now available.

Alhambra Unified School District is excited to announce our partnership with Hazel Health to provide HAZEL HEART telehealth mental health services for AUSD students. Telehealth mental health services are available AT HOME for any AUSD student. (At-school services are also available for students in our summer programs.) We are grateful to the AUSD community and the readers of the Pasadena Star-News, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, and the Whittier Daily News for voting for Alhambra USD for Readers Choice Awards in so many categories. AUSD was named FAVORITE SCHOOL DISTRICT & BEST WORKPLACE in the San Gabriel Valley, fifteen of our schools were named FAVORITE PUBLIC SCHOOL, and the Alhambra Educational Foundation was named FAVORITE NON-PROFIT.
