Eighty years ago in the early 1940s, a patron of Alhambra’s main post office would have been able to look up and enjoy three original tempera murals on the post office’s south walls. Sadly, today, those walls are bare; the murals are missing. But what happened to them? What did they look like? What was their subject matter? And, who was the muralist that painted them?
Join us at 7 pm in the cafeteria at Alhambra High School for the presentation
Light refreshments will be served.
Parking will be available on surrounding streets and in Alhambra High School’s parking lot, which is located on the west side of 2nd Street just north of the school.
