The San Marino Rotary Club recently donated over $1,000 worth of books to Brightwood Elementary School. Each class was given books based on choices the teachers made at the end of the last school year. The books were delivered to Brightwood on Oct. 20. Principal Natalie Tee Gaither attended the Nov. 6 Rotary Club meeting to share how the books were distributed and used by the students. San Marino Rotary Club representatives William Bortz and Jean Brodhead are pictured with Kimberly Ng’s second grade class.
