At the August 29th Board Meeting, we will have one staff report on the agenda: "2016 General Obligation Bonds - Second Series Issuance." AUSD is preparing to issue its second series of bonds under Measure HS of 2016. The Bond Finance Team will present an overview of the issuance process and the bond documents that the Board will adopt later in the meeting. At the next Board of Education Meeting on Tuesday, August 8th, we will welcome our first-ever Student Board of Education Member. We are honored to have Assemblymember MikeFong administer the Oath of Office to AUSD Student Board Member Justin Wang (AHS senior) and Alternate Kaitlyn Cao (MKHS senior). The ceremony will take place at the beginning of the public portion of the Board Meeting, which will begin at 6:00pm.

We are now accepting new student registration for the 2023-24 school year, as well as permit applications. We also continue to accept applications for our Mandarin and Spanish Dual Language Immersion Programs. Please CLICK ON THE HEADLINE for more information or to begin the registration process.
