In case you heard about rumors through social media, we want to assure you that NO AUSD student was involved and NO student was ever in danger. Thank you to the parents for informing us of the posting. Thank you, also, to the Alhambra Police Department and the City of Alhambra for their assistance in this matter. If you are interested in our popular Dual Immersion Programs (in Spanish or Mandarin), please CLICK ON THE HEADLINE for more information, a list of upcoming informational meetings/tours, and the links to RSVP to join a tour. Online enrollment for the programs will open on December 12th. These are both popular programs so make sure to sign up by January 31st to be included in the first round of the admission lottery.

We will also be celebrating our January 2023 Game Changers: Dr. Jennifer Huang, instructional coach at Ynez School and Rosario Puente, campus supervisor at Moor Field. The Rotary Club of Alhambra will also be at the meeting to recognize teachers who have been awarded a Rotary Mini Grant (and present them with their check).

Congratulations to: Shane Purkiss (Teacher & Coach at SGHS) and Robert Guerrero (Plant Foreman at MKHS), who are our current Game Changers! Both will be celebrated at the January 10th Board of Education meeting and will each receive $100, courtesy of Schools First Federal Credit Union. On the agenda for the January 31st Board Meeting, there is one staff report: DUAL ENROLLMENT AND CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION UPDATE.
