There are two staff reports scheduled for our next Board of Education meeting. If you have questions about either staff report, please CLICK ON THE HEADLINE to submit your question. The form will close on July 25th at noon.

One of the two El Monte police officers who was killed on Tuesday was a former AUSD employee. All are invited to the candlelight vigil honoring both officers on June 18th at 7:00pm on the front steps of the El Monte Civic Center. Members of the community may submit questions about our May 7th Staff Reports to the Board of Education: 2022-2023 Budget. Tragically, there were actually TWO acts of racially-motivated shootings this weekend. The Board of Education and Superintendent have issued a statement in response to the second incident at a Laguna Woods church in Orange County, CA. The Board of Education and Superintendent have issued a statement in response to the horrific and racist mass killing that recently occurred in Buffalo, NY. As a society, we must (and will) do better. (05/20 Update: Translations Added)
