We will have staff reports presented to the Board at the May 17th Board of Education meeting. We welcome questions form the community about these staff reports. To submit a question, please CLICK ON THE HEADLINE. Submissions are accepted through noon on Monday. The questions will be reviewed prior to the final reports to guide content and discussion at the meeting.

Our latest Game Changers are: Gabriel Rocha (Campus Supervisor at Ynez School) and Sabrina Son (Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Student Support Services). Gabriel and Sabrina will both be recognized by the AUSD Board of Education at their April 26th meeting. They will also receive a $100 check from #SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union. This meeting is a STUDY SESSION and will feature three staff reports:

➡ Pre-Kindergarten Planning and Implementation Grant Update

At next Tuesday's Board of Education meeting, three staff reports will be presented on the following topics: (1) Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Task Force Update, (2) Overview of AUSD's Proposed Plan of Adoption of the California State Seal of Civic Engagement, and (3) Board of Education Livestreaming and Virtual Meeting Option Update. On Friday, April 8th at 7:00pm, the LA County Committee on School District Organization is scheduled to conduct a public hearing on the proposed by-trustee voting areas for AUSD.
